Changing pace: More George MacDonald!
Hello all,
Mixing things up a little as I better plan how to use this platform. There are four categories in which I am posting:
1. Church Letters
This is the main site, adorientem.substack.com which is longer-form writing & resources, including sermons or commentary or liturgical materials. Perhaps occasional significant poems or quotes. Posting may be infrequent and vary by project.
2. Sunday Letters
Corage! God mend Al! (an anagram for George MacDonald) will be my posting of George MacDonald quotes, where possible with commentary. For now I’m scheduling to post every week. If you subscribed a few months ago or further back, you were not opted in to this by default, but can opt in here. Here is the first one:
3. Short Letters
Short Letters (short.letters.ovh)is personal small commentary, quotes from reading, or other commonplacing one might see on Tumblr-of-old, or Twitter (minus the discourse). This is not on Substack and no emails are sent for this. This platform works with the Mastodon platform (search for user @letters@micro.blog) , which, if not using micro.blog, can be followed by various servers. 4. Anglican.Center
I am one of the posters for the Anglican Center Substack, f.k.a. Tractarian (a separate subscription) announces projects or essays (of varying authorship) fitting with the vision “to bring the theological and pastoral spirit of traditional Anglicanism into a modern, pan-jurisdictional context.”
